There are more, but I will only list six similarities and six differences between the two protagonists, Jonah and Paul, respectively. This contrasting type of comparison is known as synkrisis. By comparing the two stories and the two protagonists, this paper will demonstrate how Acts 27 portrays Paul as God\u2019s reliable and obedient prophet as opposed to Jonah.
